How to setup Windows Mail

1. Open Windows Mail.

Step 1

2. Click the Tools menu, and select Accounts…

3. Click on Add…

Step 3

4. Click on E-mail Account, and click Next.

Step 4

5. In the field enter the name you wish to be displayed on emails sent. This is often just your first and last name, and click Next.

Step 5

6. In the field enter your email address, eg your.name@yourdomain.com.au

Note: “yourdomain.com.au” should be replaced with the domain name you have purchased and are hosting on our servers, or the AABrothers provided domain name

7. On the Set up e-mail servers window, complete the fields with your account details:

Incoming e-mail server type: POP3

Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server: mail.yourdomain.com.au

Outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) name: mail.yourdomain.com.au

Username: this is the full email address for your account, eg your.name@yourdomain.com.au

Outgoing server requires authentication: Checked

Click Next.

Step 7

 8. On the Internet Mail Logon window, complete the fields with your account details.

E-mail username: your email address, eg your.name@yourdomain.com.au

Password: This is the password you have assigned, or that has been provided to you by AABrothers.

Click Next.

Step 8

9. On the Congratulations window click on Finish.

10. On the main Internet Accounts window select the email account you just created and click Properties.

11. In the Properties window in the first field enter the name you would like to refer to that email account suck as “Work Mail” etc. the click Ok then Close

12. If it is not possible to send the email on port 25 because your internet provider blocked the port, then try the port 580 instead of the port 25 on the field Outgoing mail(SMTP):
