How to setup Outlook 2007
1.
Open
Microsoft
Outlook 2007.
2.
Click the
Tools
menu, and select
Account Settings...
3.
On the
E-mail
tab, click
New...
4.
When
prompted to
Choose E-mail Service
, select
Microsoft Exchange
,
POP3
,
IMAP
, or
HTTP
, and click
Next
.
5.
Select
Manually configure server settings or additional server types
and click the
Next
button.
6.
On the
Choose Email service
screen, select
Internet E-Mail
, and click the
Next
button
.
7.
On the
Internet Email Settings
window, complete the fields with your personal and account details:
Note: “yourdomain.com.au” should be replaced with the domain name you have purchased and are hosting on our servers, or the AABrothers provided domain name.
Your Name:
Enter the name you wish to be displayed on emails sent. This is often just your first and last name.
Email Address:
your email address, eg
yourname@yourdomain.com.au
Account Type:
POP3
Incoming mail server:
mail.yourdomain.com.au
Outgoing mail server:
mail.yourdomain.com.au
Username:
this is the full email address for your account, eg
yourname@yourdomain.com.au
Password:
This is the password you have assigned, or that has been provided to you by AABrothers.
Note: by ticking the box
Remember password
you will not be prompted to enter your password every time outlooks checks for mail.
8.
Click the
More Settings…
button and then the
Outgoing Server
tab on the Internet email window that opens
.
9.
Check the box next to
My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
and select
Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
Click
OK
once complete.
10.
If is not possible to send the email on the port 25 because your internet provider block the port, then try the port 580 instead of the port 25.
